(NOTE: This is all about a pilot program, launched two years ago, which they hope to reimplement in the spring.) To empower local volunteers to take a leadership position within the organization. A lot of the volunteers or their family members have been a part of the center for years, and it’s another way to give them ownership of the community, of the the center as well, and to have them help us in promoting these services here in the community.
