The Executive Director’s Leadership Council


Program Overview

To empower students to partner with staff and board on addressing the issues affecting their communities. All leadership programs are student led with faculty advisors. EDLC is advised by the Executive Director and staffed by a student leader. The program includes leadership theory and practice through internal and external projects. We also have the Circulo de Hombres and Circulo de Mujeres which are gender based leadership programs addressing issues affecting the genders. The students plan events, community projects and support groups.

Qualifications:

For EDLC they need to be BLCI high school students with a 3.5 GPA or above. They also have to have a history of giving back. For the Circulos anyone can join from middle or high school.
