Program Overview

Purpose: to develop the network of San Diego’s next progressive leaders

Overview: We offer an intensive 11 session program to a highly selective group of diverse young progressive leaders over the course of six months to give them the skills and network needed to change the political landscape of the greater San Diego region.

Time Commitment Per Week: 5-9 hours


Generally, our fellows are between the ages of 22-40. However, the ages are not a hard criteria. Fellows must be progressive leaders that agree to our progressive values statements and should be on a trajectory in their civic engagement and/or career that would allow them to benefit and build upon their experiences in our program. We encourage fellows to identify personal and professional goals and move towards accomplishing them. Possible goals may include a job promotion, joining a community board or commission, running for office, operating a non-profit, or expanding a business.
